What if YOU could be at the forefront of the movement to turn Georgia blue, working side-by-side with thousands of Georgia Democrats to win in November?
You can be, by volunteering with the Democratic Party of Georgia. We know that Georgia is in play for the 2008 Presidential race, and the hard work and resources coming into Georgia will help candidates up and down the ballot. But we need your help too. Here are three ways that you can make a difference:
Become a Neighborhood volunteer!
We know that the best way to reach voters is by neighbors talking to neighbors. Neighborhood volunteers will work closely with our field organizers to contact 25 Democratic voters In their neighborhood and get them out to vote for Democrats in November.
Our neighborhood volunteer program puts the power to persuade and turn out Democratic votes where it belongs - in the hands of hardworking Democrats like you. We know that a real grassroots effort that focuses on the issues and treats the voters with respect is always more effective than a 30-second attack ad or mail piece.

This year, Georgia has seen unprecedented numbers of newly registered voters. We need your help to make sure that every eligible Georgian has a voice. Our Voter Registration organizers will be working at county fairs, block parties, and events all over Georgia to register as many people as possible for November.

We also offer opportunities for Democrats who live near our main offices in Atlanta or our field offices in Macon and Tifton to help contact voters across the state. Our phone bank volunteers will be calling voters to help identitfy good Democrats , build turnout for county-level events, and call on behalf of our Democratic candidates.
From now until November, we will be running phone banks from 10:00a.m.-8:00p.m, Monday through Friday. We will also have weekend opportunities available.
